Julia was a competitive swimmer for over 15 years, starting at the age of 6 and continuing through college.
She swam for Oakland University’s NCAA Division I swim program for four seasons—from 2010 through 2014—and was captain of the women’s swim and dive team during her senior year.
In April 2014, Julia graduated from Oakland University with degrees in International Relations and Spanish Language & Literature.
After retiring from the sport herself, Julia decided she wasn’t ready to give up on swimming just yet, and coaching would be the best way to stay involved in the sport that had defined most of her life.
Julia is excited to dive back in to the swimming community and is thrilled to work with the young, talented swimmers at Aqua Club.
